PAEROA DEFEATS WAIKINO.
Ideal weather prevailed on Saturday afternoon, when once again the Paeroa team retained the coveted Goldfields Stars by defeating the-Wai-kino teajn by eleven points. Following were the teams-; —

Waikino,: Borthwick, Collins, Vercoe, Gallagher (skip) 18. 1
INTERCLUB MATCH. The Paeroa club had a “day cwt”on Saturday, as it also managed to defeat Waikino in an inter-club' match by 16 points,. Following are the details, Paeroa players being mentioned first in each instance :— ,
