HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ co-operative Auctioneering Company reports :-i— At the Frankton weekly stock- market on Tuesday there was a good entry of cow and heifer beef.- No ox beef was penned. -Prime cattle sold up to Late rates, rough and ordinary kicked competition. Prime cows and heifers; £8 to £8 7s 6d, lighter prime £6 Is to £6 15s, medium quality cows £5 to £5 IQs, rough £3 10s .to £4 10s, fresh conditioned cows £3 to £3 7s 6d, stores 35s to £2 -ss. A small entry of sheep was offered, store lambs still being in demand, while ewes, chiefly aged sheep, were hard to quit. Prime woolly lambs sold to. 265, medium shorn lambs' 12s 6d, smajl 10s to 10s 3d ; cull woolly lambs 10s ; medium, 2-t-ooth ewes 22s 6d; small framed low conditioned 4-year-old ewtes 16s Id, cull ewes 8s to 9s 3d.

Fat and store pigs again cajne forward in their usual large' numbers and sold firm- at, late rates. Heavy baconers £4 12s to £4 16s, lighter £4 2s to £4 9s;' good medium baconers £3 13s to £3 17s. good porkers and light baconers £3 5s to- £3 10s, medium porkers £2 15s to £3, light £2 8s -to £2 12s ; stores 35s to £2 ss, slips 18si 6d to 26b; best we.aners 12s- to 146, small 6s, Cd to 9s' 6d.
