The Netherton School wil hold its annua,! picnic on Saturday. According to a notice exhibited ajt one of the public halls on the Plains the following miscellaneous articles have been found in the hall.: One pair of gumboots, one pair gents s,ocks, one motor-car jack, one overceoat, one enamel brooch, one rubber belt, and two pairs of bobtp. The bitumen-sealing work on Piako Road, Turua, is proceeding steadily, the portion in the Town Board area being almost completed. On the county portion of the road the first course metal has been laid for about half the distance, and the end of the isecnod course meta,l is not far behind.
