TO-NIGHT. THE LITTLE FRENCH GIRL. The picture “The Little French Girl,” is the chief attraction for tonight, Alice Joyce and Nei.l Hamilton having .the principal roles. The plot centres about a fascinating French divorcee and her beautiful young daughter.. Desirous of having the girl grow up free from the sophistication which surrounds her, Mme. Vervier (Alice Joyce) eends Alix, played by Mary Brian to visit at (he fashionable home of friends in England. How, even there, her mother’s unsavory .reputation lies like an .abyss, across her path ,to happiness, how she is qnmeshed in the differences of. social standards between the two countries, and how she finally extricates herself and comes through with flying colours, is told in what is destined to be one of the finest pictures of the current season. ’ SATURDAY NIGHT. ONE WAY STREET. Rejuvenation is the latest word to be lifted out of mythology - and inscribed by science on tfxe scrolls of certified reality. A new phase of this scientific accomplishment has been caught and turned to dramatic use in "One Way Street,” which is to be shown to-morrow night It is built; around the rejuvenation of an English, opera singer, once x a world-famed beauty, who returns with her youth restored by science to again lay siege to the supremacy of a society which threw her aside when she grew old. Ben Lyon and Anna Q. Nilsson have the stellar roles.
