HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co. reports as follows :— At the weekly sto;ck sale held in the Frankton yards’ on Tuesday last we had a fair yarding of beef, sheep, and fat pigs. Prices for beef, mutton, and heavy bacon pigs were firmer, while all classes of store sheep sold well up to late rates,. Beef : Medium weight prime steers, £ll 12s 6d to £l2 19s ; prime cows, £B- - to £8 19s, lighter £7 Ils to £.7 14js, medium weights) £5 10s to £6 14s ; light cows, £4 5s to £5 ; fresh-condi-tioned cows, £3 10s tp £4, smaller frames £2 15s to £3 2s 6d ; store cows '3'ss to £2 7s ; 3%-year store steers to £8 ss. The line of pedigree Ayrshire cattle advertised were cleared at an average of 10% guineas.
