TO-MORROW’S GAMES. GOLDFIELDS STARS TEAM. A challenge entered by the Paeroa club to play Matamata (holders)) for the Goldfields Stars has been accepted, and Mesfsrs W.. McCullay, W. Power, W. Hamilton, and W- Purdie (skip) will leave for Matamata tomorrow morning to wage battle against P. Stewart’s doughty team, The' local rink has been carefully selected, and is considered a strong combination .that should give a very good account of itself to-morrow. The Branan Memorial Shield competition will be proceeded With on the local green. NIGHT PLAY. A very interesting match was played last night, when the veteranß’, comprising Olson, Forrept, Ellis, and Hamilton (skip), withstood a challenge from Robson, Holes, E. H. Andrews, and P. Hague-Smith (skip) for the night play buttons. The superior play .and rink experience of the veterans stood to them throughout the game, and they defeated the challengers by 22 to 16.
