IN AID OF BENEVOLENT FUND.

SUCCESSFUL EVENING SPENT. Last evening members and rriends of the Star of Paeroa Lodga combined in a progressive euchre content,' followed by an enjoyable dance, in aid of the benevolent fund of the lodge. A delightful time was spent by all present, the music, supplied by Miss. Smith, being of a/ very high order. The prizes for the euchre were donated by Mrs Fallon and Bros. F. E. Flatt, W. McCnlUay, and E l . V. ByHeld. A high standard of culinary art was reflected in the dainty cookies kindly supplied by the ladies'. The prize-winners were Mi's, L. Gibb, Miss L. Williams, MT Davies, and Mr F. Murphy. As a result a very good cause should be materially assisted.
