HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co. reports as follows: — We held our weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday, having a full yarding of beef (principally cows and heifers. Prime cattle were firm a ; t late rates, plain and ordinary being easier.' tOnly a few l mediumquality fat sheep were penned and competition was dull- The store sheep pens were filled mainly with store lambis, and all classes were in demand. An extra large yarding of fat and store pigs came forward, and they were- keenly competed for throughout the sa,le.

Beef : Steers, young and unfinished, £5 2s 6d to £8 17s 6d ; prime heavy fat cows, and heifers, £8 12s 6d to £9 l'ss ; fat cows £7 to £7 16s, medium £5 15s to £6 7s, light and young £4l to £5 ss; fresh-conditioned cows £3 .to £3 Ils ; best vealens 38s to £2 10s, small and young 23s to 315,. Sheep: Medium-quality fat ewes 18s; forward wethers 22s 9d; fat lambs £1 Gs ; good rape lambs, 15s 9d to 17s ; extra good shorn W.F. lambs 16s 7d, medium 9s 4d ten 12s 1 3d, culls ss, 9d to 8s ; good store ELF. lambts 12s Id to 14s, medium 9s 4d to 10b 6d, small Bs.
