NEW ZEALAND PRODUCTS
EMPIRE SHOPPING WAVE. . THE POSITION AT HOME. , "1 am firmly convinced that it would pay New Zealand to spend a considerable sum annually in advertising New Zealand’s products in England,” said Mr A- F. Roberts, Commissioner for New Zealand at the Wembley Exhibition, who returned to'Wellington this week. “Wbmbley has done its part well. There is quite a w ave of Empire shopping passing over England at the present time, as the result, of the awakening of the people to a knowledge of what the Empire overseas means through what it produces. It is, for us to sustain that spirit' as well as we can. With oiir £40,000,000 to £50,000,000 worth of products every- year it is surely worth while spending a big sum each year to keep that market buoyant. Our products are the best the world can give, and England really wants them, but she has, to be ,told about them year in and year put.”
