CRICKET.
MATCH ON CHRISTMAS DAY. RAILWAYS DEFEAT PAEROA. Considerable interest was attached to the cricket match played between members of the Paerpa Cricket Club and the local railway at the railway settlement recreation ground on Christmas Day. Perfect weatner prevailed, and the newly laid pitch was in good playing condition. The game, which was a single innings one, was won by the railway eleven by 21 runs.
