t v - •■ ' CURRENT ISSUES REVIEWED. The popularity of magazine reading with the traveller and holidaymaker is, still growing, and the demand to-day is greater .than it has ever been. Amongst a batch to hand is Hutchinson’s "Mystery Story Magazine,” whicli contains articles by the Rt. Hon. the Earl, of BirKenhcad, Edmund Snelk Dora Christie Murray, and Nerley Lucas. The latter gives a stirring article on “Criminal Paris'..” A magazine that will appeal to young people is, “Little Folks,” which contains some fine boys’ school stories. "The Corner” magazine, published by Cassell’s, has amongst its contributors some of the ablest magazine writers. Thfe month's issue has a long complete novel, “Tradition Calling,” by Hazel Phillips Hanshew, which does the writer credit. Another very fine short story in the same number is by Frank H. Shaw, called “The Moving Finger.”

For true stories, of love and adventure the reader is, recommended to buy the “True Story Magazine.”. It is said that truth is stranger than fiction, and after perusing the many stories in this last issue one is certainly led to. that conclusion. This magazine should certainly be one of those selected for holiday reading.
