GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES.
TO-NIGHT.
LITTLE ANNIE ROONEY.
"Little Annie Rooney,” which is to be shown to-night, is a picture for everybody. I,t has laughs galore. It has a real story that holds from start tq finish. It has justi ,a tear or two, and a lot of human interest. But most of all it has Mary Pickford as, a ragged little tomboy of New York’s East Side, leader of a gang of boys, a lighting, laughing, happy Irish lassi of the slums, who meets her crucial test, whe?i it comes, like the little heroine she is. There is the picture in it nutshell. It is, needless to go into detail, for the star’s name and the title do the trick every time. This is the kind of picture that only Mary pickford can play. It is the type that made her. famous, and in it she is at her best.
