The visitors won by the narrow margin of four runs. In common with every class of sport, practice is essential if any headway is. to be made and, success achieved. In this respect the Paeroa club ahs done very little so far .this season, but with the acquisition of a, practice net and the improved playing facilities! at the domain an enjoyable season is confidently looked forward to.
HAUHAKI PLAINS MATCHES. AVAITAKARURU AND'PIPIROA. WIN The final matches of ’ the first round of the Hauraki Plains Cricket Association’s competition were played •on Saturday, Waitakaruru and Pipiroa securing .two-point wins, from .Raihere and Kopuarahi.
