SMALL ALTERATION IN RECOUNT.

RESTORATION MAJORITY OF 48.

The magisterial recount of the licensing vo.te in the Ohinemuri electorate was completed at the Paeroa Courthouse on Friday afternoon. Only a small, alteration to the previous count resulted. By the recount restoration gains two votes, local no-licens.e gains two, and .the number of informal votes; is reduced by two. Two absent votes which had not been previously counted were included. The majority over the three-fifths required to carry restoration is now 48. The final figures are as follows, with those of the first count in parenthesis : Restoration, 4114 (4112) ; local no-license, 2663 (2661) ; informal, 192 (194).
