PLAINS RAINFALL.
FIGURES FOR NOVEMBER. ,AN AVERAGEJdONTH. The rainfall for the month of November as recorded at the Lands Office, Kerepeehi, totalled 2.64 inches. There were only thirteen wet days, the lowest of any month this year r since April. The dullness and coldless no doubt made the month seem wetter than it was. The average fall for-,the month of November at Kerepeehi during the last thirteen years is 3.37 niches, but this high average is explained by the high totals for the month in the yeJirs 1913-17 and 1924, which have an average of 5.38 inches. The total for the year to date is .36.34 inches-, as against'ss.ls inches for the same period last year, 44-72 , inches in 1923, and about 38 inches as the average for the period during the . last fourteen years.
