LYTTELTON ELECTION.
IRREGULAIMTIES IN ROLLS. STILL SEARCHING FOR PAPERS. ' CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 17. ( The Lyttelton licensing poll, is still being counted,, and no news is, available regarding the missing papers for the Parliamentary election. In the meantime supporters of the various candidates are closely« scrutinizing the rolls, and some interesting discoveries have been made, it is reported. The activities ot tlie candidates and their agents are expected to reveal a number of irregular enrolments, which appeared to be genuine enough and were accepted as such. MORE WESTLAND PAPERS. The returning officer for Westport has advised the returning officer at ■Hokitika that lie had six absentee voting papers, which he believed belong to Westland.
