A regrettable feature of .this event wais the large number of- forfeits, many competitors dropping out when -their turn came to travel some distance to. play their games.. "The decorative scheme, designed by Mrs' Anderson, and very ably carried out by her assistants, reflected the greatest credit on all concerned, and our very best thanks are due to the whole of the committee for their splendid assistance. “Office Bearers.—The various office bearers complete their-term today, and you wili require ,to fill these positions, for the ensuing year.” The statement of accounts showed that the annual ball had cost £l6 Bs, while the receipts were £32 8s ,6d.
