VETERINARY MATTERS.

MEETING OF PLAINS CLUB. The monthly meeting of the executive committee of the Farmers’ Veterinary Club was held at Ngatea on Friday, Mr A. J. Andrews presiding. The surgeon, Mr J. Costello, reported having made 10'0 visits during the month, and having supplied drugs, etc., to 60 other members. Seven new members were enrolled, including four from Netherton. Accounts totalling £l3 7s 8d were passed for payment. The secretary was instructed to write thanking the County Council, for permitting the surgeon to park the club’s car in its machinery depot.
