t Election Notices. Election NoJe«s. ELECTORS OF OHINEMURI. Principles before Party Politics POLAND or SAMUEL Service to Constituents Service to Reform Party TRUE REPRESENTATION ’ OBEDIENCE TO PARTY OP OHINEMURI ELECTORS WHIPS That is the Real Issue The well proved, loyal, RESIDENT Member for Ohinemuri can be relied on to support all progressive and sane legislation unfettered by Party ties Don’t be misled by Anti-Socialist propaganda introduced for Party purposes Vote POL A N D TO THE ELECTORS OF OHINEMURI. WE, the undersigned, express our regret that Mr W. M. Wallnuti, Mayor of Waihi, and other gentlemen of the district, have used their official positions to make Liquor Propaganda statements concerning the results of No-License in Ohinemuri. We deny the assertion that No-License has been detrimental to the Electorate : we affirm, on the other hand, that the towns of Waihi and •Paeroa, and the whole of the Ohinemuri Electorate have benefited greatly by the closing of the hotel bars, despite the harmful influence of several licensed houses near the boundaries of the Electorate. We would especially remind electors that the great development and growing popularity of the Waihi Beach Seaside Resort has been considerably assisted by the fact that No-License prevails. To. introduce a licensed house at the Waihi Beach would be to destroy its ideality as a pleasure and health resort. We therefore urge the electors to weigh the facts very carefully and to make certain that the evils and temptations of the Licensed Liquor Trade shall not be restored Signed W. F.
