made fit fob traffic. CLAY ROADS IN GOOD ORDER. Most of the clay roads on the Plains have now been disced, and are fit tor traffic. Comparatively littl#J work has been necessary on account . of the thorough manner in which they were formed up last season. The Pekapeka and Wilson’s roads are now being used, as the bad portions of the road from the Plains to Paeroa are thus passed by. Pekapeka Road has been disced. The first motor-car this season proceeded from Ngatea to Patetonga and back on Friday.
