There was a small yarding of stock at .the monthly sale conducted by the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co. at Ngatea on Monday, and fair prices - were realised. Prime fat cows brought from £9 15s to £ll.los s lighter £7 to £8 10s, fat heifers £6 Is to £7, fresh-conditioned cows >£s 4s to £5 19s, young empty cows £4i Is ,to £4 18js, other empty cows £2 17s to £3 16s, empty 2-year-old heifers £3 5s to £4, springing heifers £4 5s to £6 lOs, potting bulls up to £8 10s, and a young Jersey bull £B.
