ATHLETIC SPORTS.
ITo the Editor}. Sir, —I am glad to see that somebody has at last recognised the need of sports gathering in Paeroa. “Old Sprinter’ is quite correct in all his views, and surely we can run one meeting a year ? There are quite a number of the younger element of our town who would speedily take advantage of an athletic contest to prpve that they can do some things. I would suggest the formation of a committee to go into the details of such an event with a; view to forming an athletic club. Burn the wind guys and let’s have it! A SPORT.
