POWER BOARD.
FINANCIAL REPORT BY COMMITTEE. The special Finance Commtitee’s report placed before the Thames Valley Electric Power Board on Tuesday stated Non-consumers’ Rate. —We recommend that 14 days’ notice be given, and that all accounts outstanding after 14 days, be sued for. Appointment of Chief Clerk.—We recommend"the appointment as given to Mr Hattway be confirmed. Resignation.—That Miss Grainger be given one mnoth’s leave of absence on. full pay, and that her resignation be recommended after her month’s absence, Re £50,000 Loan. —We recommend that the chairman be given authority to make arrnagements for raising the. loan and the Finance Committee be empowered-to act. Further Loan Proposals—We recommend that authority be given to the executive to go into the matter of placing further loan proposals before the ratepayers by May or June next. Unpaid Installations.—After judgment is obtained we recommend that the manager be instructed to attach the land for the payment of the judgment. The report was adopted.
