"IVr OTICE is hereby given that ±1 the Hauraki Drainage Board will at its next meeting to be held at Turua on Friday, the 23rd day of October, 1925, at 11 a.m., make and levy under sections 31, 32, and 33 of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and Amendments thereto, and the Rating Act, 1908, and the Amendments thereto, the following several Rates for the period of one year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1925, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1926, namely : UPON ALL LANDS CLASSIFIED AS "A” in the Classification made by the Board of the rateable property within its district, a Rate of 16-Bths of a penny in the £ in the' Northern, Turua, and Central Areas, a Rate of 14-Bths of a penny in the £ in the Te Kauri Area, and a Rate of 12-Bths of a penny in the £ in the Monganui Area, on the unimproved value of such lands. UPON ALL LANDS CLASSIFIED AS “B” in the said Classification, a Rate of 14-Bths of a penny in the £ in the Northern, Turua, and Central Areas, 12-Bths of a penny in the £ in the Te Kauri Area, and 10-Bths of a penny in the .£ in the Monganui Area, on the unimproved value of such lands. UPON ALL LANDS CLASSIFIED AS “C” in the said Classification, a Rate of 12-Bth of a penny in the £ in the Northern, Turua, and Central Areas, 10-Bths of a penny in the £ in the Te Kauri Area, and 8-Bths of a penny in the £ in the Monganui Area, on the unimproved value of such lands. Notice is also given that the Valuaiton Roll, Ratepayers’ List, and Rate Book are open for inspection at the office of the Board, Turua Buildings, Turua, during office hours. Notice is also given that it is the intention, of the Board to collect with the above-mentioned rates the Special Rates on the No. 1 and No. 2 Drainage Loans, each of £5OOO. WHEREAS in the year 1913 a sum of money was raised by .voluntary subscription among members of the Anglican and Presbyterian Churches at Netherton for the purpose of creating a fund for erecting an Undenominational Mission Hall at Netherton, and such money is vested in me as Trustee, and with the accumulated interest thereon, now amounts to Bs. AND WHEREAS in consequence of the changed circumstances in the District since such money was raised, the said Mission Hall is not now required and it is considered that such trust can be best served by (aft'-r payment of the the costs of the scheme) dividing the said sum equa ly between the Anglican and Pn yterian Churches for the purpose of assisting in the erection of an Anglican and a Presbyterian Chinch, at Netherton. A meeting of contributors to the said fund will be held in the Netherton H ill on Saturday, the fourteenth day of November, 1925, at 2.30 p.m., to consider the foregoing proposed disi ibution, and, if approved, to appoint a committee of three contrib’.fers to prepare a scheme for subn. ission to the Attorney General for the purpose of carrying the proposal into effect.
