PURSUANT to Section 50 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” notice is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County Council, in pursuance of sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and “The Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereof respectively, and of section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and of section 6 of “The Local Bodies Finance Act, 1921-22,” and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends, at its next ordinary meeting, to be held in its office at Ngatea on Tuesday, the 13th day of October,. 1925, to make and levy the following rates 1. A SPECIAL RATE of id in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property within the County of Hauraki Plains for the purpose of paying off the fourth annual instalment of the “Antecedent Liability.” 4. THE ANNUAL recurring loan rates, now in force, will be levied and collected also accordingly. The said rates to be for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1925, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1926, and to be due and payable in one instalment on the 15th day of October, 1925, to Ernest Walton, County. Treasurer, at the County Office at Ngatea. The Valuation Rolls for the several ridings of the County of Hauraki Plains are open for inspection at the County Office, Ngatea, during office hours.
