CROQUET.
MEETING OF PAEROA CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Paeroa Ladies’ Croquet Club was held in Bain’s Rooms on Wednesday afternoon, the president (Mrs G. H. Taylor) presiding over, a good attendance of members. The annual report stated that a good season had resulted in a small credit balanced. The various interclub, as well as the lochl competitions, had been keenly contested, and many enjoyable afternoons had resulted. Eight new members were elected. The question of the opening day was left in the hands of tlie secretary to arrange with the Domain Board. The following officiates were elected for the 1925-26 season: President, Mrs G. S. Talboys; vice-presidents, Mrs g' P- Lamb and Mrs H. G. Somervell; secretary and treasurer, Mrs G. H. Taylor. It was reported that the greens were looking very well, and an enjoyable season is being eagerly looked forward to.
