Public Notices. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. Loan of £33,800 over the Kerepeehi Roads loan (1925) Special Rating Area for the construction of roads therein as set out hereunder :— OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN : 1 That it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains County Council under the provisions of “The Counties Act, 1920,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and amendments thereof respectively, and all other Acts, if any, it in that behalf enabling to borrow the sum of £33,800 for the purpose of constructing roads as under: — (a) Improving, metalling, and laying down as a bitumen road the section of the KerepeehiTurua Road in Kerepeehi Riding £12,100 (b) Improving, metalling, and laying down as a . bitumen road the section of the KerepeehiTurua Road in Kerepeehi Riding 5600 (c) Improving, metalling, and laying down as a bitumen road the section of Turua-Nether-ton Road from the northern boundary of Kerepeehi Riding to ■ Pekapeka Road 510 (d) Improving, metalling, and laying down as a bitumen road Kaikahu Road 8840 (e) Improving and metalling Rimu Street in Kerepeehi township 1180 (I) Improving and metalling Matai Street in Kerepeehi township 460 (g) Improving and metalling Miro Street inKerepeehi township 460 (h) Engineering, supervising, & contingencies 1770 (i) First year’s interest and sinking fund and the preliminary charges for raising loan 2880 £33,800 2. That as security for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the said loan it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a special rate of 6.4-5 d in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in .the Kerepeehi Roads Loan (1925) Special Rating Area. 3. That it is the intention of the Council to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loanand the interest and sinking fund for the first year. 4. That the loan is for a period of 36J yearss at such rate of interest not exceeding so much as may be authorised under Section 11 of “The Finance Act, 1921,” together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund. The boundaries of the said Special Rating Area are as follows :— Commencing at a point where the northern and eastern boundaries of Kerepeehi Riding intersect, thence proceeding in a westerly, north-westerly, westerly, and south-westerly direction along the northern and western boundaries of Kerepeehi Riding to the mouth of the Awaiti Stream, thence up the Awaiti Stream to the Kaikahu No. 1 B2 Block, thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of the said block to Lot 9 of Kaikahu No. 3 Block, thence along the western and southern boundaries of the said Lot 9 to and along the northern and eastern boundaries of Te Awaiti 2 Cl Block to and along the southern boundary of the Kerepeehi Riding to the Waihou River, thence in a northerly direction down the Waihou River to the point of commencement. bated this 18th day of September, 1925.
