ELECTRIC COOKING.
USE OF STOVES AT SCHOOLS. A MORRINSVILLE REQUEST. Several months ago at the instigation of the Morrnisville School Committee, the Thames Valley Electric Power Board decided to loan electric stoves, to- manual schools within its district, the only charge to eb made being for the current*. Despite the fact that the Morrinsville committee made immediate application to the Education Board, this body decided to have a stove installed in the Paeroa school on a year’s trial. This matter was mentioned at Tuesday evenings’ meeting of the Morrinsville School Committee (says the Morrinsville, “Star”), and it was considered that, as, the Paeroa sch'ool had been using the stove for three months, .the Education Board should bow be in a position to tell whether its installation was warranted. It was decided to again approach the Education Board and ask for the installation of an electric stove, as Morrinsville’s request w'as made before
