ENTERTAINMENTS.

GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. “THE DANGEROUS COWARD.” “The Dangerous Coward” is the first of a series of thrifting Western pictures starring Fred Thomson and Silver King. These are fine, clean, outdoor stories, full of interest and packed with stunts that are simply amazing, The story starts with a real Wild West Rodeo and plenty of action. Thomson brings his athletic ability into play by competing against the pick of the cowboys, showing great versatility as a horseman and roper. Hazel Keener plays the feminine lead, and her actions at the prize fight, where she is dressed as a bby, are certain to make the house shake with laughter. The cast is exceptionally good, and includes Frank Hagney, who two years ago knocked out Firpo.

SATURDAY NIGHT. ' “ CLASSMATES.” $ In "Classmates,” the First National picture for to-morrow night, Richard Bar.thelmess presents the greatest work Of his screen career, a performance that will overtop the strength of his mountain boy in “Tol’able David,” the lyric poetry of his Yellow Man in "Broken Blossoms,” and his fine psychological study of a crippled, war veteran in “The Enchanted Cottage.” The picture affords Dick an exceptionally well balance cast. As the girl, in the story, Madge, Evans, remembered for her original child roles in earlier years, returns to the" screen and scores a tiumph. Other good acting is presented by Claude Brooke, Charlotte Walker, Reginald Walker, Reginald Sheffield, and-Antrim Short.
