PERSONAL.
Dr. Leo de Castro, F.R.C.S. (Edin.), who recently returned from England, has purchased the practice of Dr. Mcßae, Te Kuiti, and entens upon his new duties on-September 1.
Messrs T. Aitkin, J. McLeod, W. J. Edwards, and F. M. Bushell, of Auckland, Provincial Grand Lodge officers of the M.U., 1.0.0. F., are at the Criterion Hotel, Paeroa.
Mr.G. P. de Castro returned to, Paeroa yesterday morning after spending a few days at Te Kuiti, where his son, Dr. L. de Castro, has purchased a practice.
Mr H. S. Griffith, who has been for, some years a building supervisor in the Public Works Department, and has been superintending the erection of the Paeroa Post Office since April, has resigned from the department in order to accept' an appointment with the Armstrong, Whitworth Co. Mr Griffith > leaves Paeroa for Arapuni, where ho will in-fntue be stationed, on Monday.
