ENTERTAINMENTS.

GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. * “ UNGUARDED WOMEN." This picture, which is to be shown tonight, successfuflly proves two theories. It offers conclusive evidence that there arc men of honour still left in this world of storm and strife; secondly, it shows that certain members of the female of the species absolutely need the strong will and protecting arm of an honest, dependable man to guard them against their own innate frivolousness, which is ever ready to. plunge them into the sea of disaster. The intelligent acting of Bebe Danidls, Richard Dix, Mary Astor, and the other, members of the admirable cast, and the vivid charm and colour of the Oriental costumes and the backgrounds, coupled with flawless photography, make "Unguarded Women" ideal screen entertainment.

SATURDAY NIGHT. “ SUNDOWN.” ‘‘Sundown” is a story laid in the present day, and it unfolds the dramatic story of the passing of the Old West before the advance of cultivation. This is, incidentally, current history, since the encroachment on the unfenced ranges of the south-west recently caused American cattlemen to unite their herds and drive them across the Rio Grande into Mexico, and these scenes were filmed by Fir f st National to be incorporated in "Sundown.” Never again will such huge herds be seen in the United States. More than a quarter of a million head of cattle will be seen winding their way in a huge line half a mile wide in this forthcoming production. Bessie Love, Roy Stewart, and Hobart Bosworth head the cast of this picture, which will bo screened to-morrbw night.
