HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports :— We held our weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, there being an average yarding of all classes. Competition was again keen at advanced rates. Beef.—Good quality, medium-weight fat steens made from £l6' to £l7, light and plain £13.. Prime heavy fat cows £l2 10s to £l4, medium £9 2s 6d,to £ll 10s, light £6 17s 6d to £7 7s 6d, unfinished £5 to £5 15s, stores £3 10s to £4 10s. Yearling heifers realised £2 2s to £2 Bs, yearling Jersey heifers £3 10s. Sheep.—Fat wethers, brought to £2 4s, medium fat ewes 35s 6d to 365. Id, store hoggets 26s 6d. Pigs.—Bacbners.sold for £4' to £4 ss, light £3 5s to £3 15s ; good porkers £3 3s.to £3 10s; choppers £2 10s to £4 2s 6d ; small porkers. £2 to £2 10s ; stores 35s to £2 2s ; slips 27s to 32s ; weaners 16. s to 245.
