PURSUANT to Section 12 of “The Local Bodies Act, 1913,” I hereby give notice that a poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Paeroa whs taken on the sth day of August, 1925, on the Proposal of the Paeroa Borough Council to borrow the sum of two thousand pounds CZ'2OOO) for the purpose of building Council Chambers. The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 270. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 85. I therefore declare that the Proposal was carried.
