KEEEI’EEHI. PLUNKET SOCIETY. The monthly meeting of the Kerepeehi branch of the Plunket Society was held on Tuesday evening, Mrs E. Tayldh presiding over an average attendance. The nurse’s monthly report stated that during the paist five weeks 32 mothers and 35 babies had visited the rooms. Severe colds and coughs were prevalent. " A letter was received stating that a branch of the society had been formed in Turua, and it was suggested - that a round-table conference be held to arrange the boundaries pl the three districts. The branch agreed to be represented. . . The secretary reported that Messrs Innes and Herkt had agreed to hold a benefit picture entertainment for the society on September 8. It wais also decided to hold a concert and dance. An offer by Mr and Mrs Loudon to donate a box in which the scales, etc., could be stored was gratefully accepted.
