STOCK SALE REPORT. ' FRANKTON YARDS. The Farmers’ Co-oeprative AucJeering Co., Ltd., reports that at the weelily stock sale held in the Frankton yards oh Tuesday there was a moderate yarding of cow beef, chiefly plain cattle being penned, which sold readily at advanced rates. A good number of fat sheep- were penned, and prices were firmer than in the previous week. Only a limited number of fat pigs were penned, and the usual full number of storey came forward. All classes were firm at late rates. Beef: Light fat cows £6 9s ,‘o £7 2s 6d, plain £5 11s to £5 17s Cd, unfinished £3 10s to £4 7s 6d. Sheep: Extra prime fat maiden ewes 45s 6d; prime wethers £2 4s. lighter 37s to 38s; prime fat ewes 41s 6d to 42s 6d, lighter 37ts Cd to 39s Cd, others 33s 2d to 35s 3d ; hogge'-.s in store condition 26s> to 2Gs 3d, small 20s to 21s. Best dairy cows £9 10s to £lO, others £7 to £8 10s; late calvers £3 15s to £5 15s.
