BASKETBALL.
TOURNAMENT ABANDONED. COMPETITION TO BE CONTINUED. The proposed tournament, which had been arranged by th? Paeroa Basketball Association, has been abandoned owing to an insufficient number of entries coming forward. Local players are advised that, weather permitting, the first series of games in the second round will be played at the High School grounds tomoi row. The draw is as follows :— Tui v. Rangi, 3 p.m.; Aroh,a v. Kiwi, 3.15 p.m.; Areta v. Moana, 3.30 p.m.
