LAST SATURDAY’S GAMES. On Wednesday last .the trophy presented by Mrs Topliss for C grade players, was won by Mrs Gorrie. The sealed hole match was won by Mrs O’Neill. lOn Saturday the members of the local club played an inter-club match with the Te Arolia club on the Showgroundis, Te Aroha. Lollowing are tne results, Te Aroha players being mentioned first in each instance : — Mrs Arthur beat Mrs, Miller, 7—6 : Mrs Hunger beat Miss Walmsley, 4 —2 ; Mrs Edwards beat Miss. Thorp, 2—l ; Mra Meikle beat Mrs Edwards, B—g8— g ; Mrs McGlasham lost to Mrs Bain, 2 up; Miss Ryan beat Mrs O’Neill, 5 —3 ; Mrs Burrows beat Miss M. Thorp, 41 —3 ; Mrs Sprague beat Mrs Lawrence, 6—5. Wynn beat Bray, 4—3 ; Somers beat Miller, 3 —2 ; Kenny beat Somervell, 4—3 ; Maingay and Dales, all square ; Arthur beat Kenny, 4 —3 ; Dewhurst and Steedman, all square ; James beat Moresby, 5—4 ; Wyllie beat Wilkinson, 6—5.; Chadwick beat Blakeway. 2 up.
