Miller moved that after hearing and consulting its engineer and the lands drainage engineer on the drain between Louch’s and McDuff’s, which was the board’s original scheme, the chairman be empowered to instruct the engineer to lay this off, ais the board adhered to it in preference to the drain between Messrs Louch’s and Robinson’s. Seconded by Mr Kneebone and carried. Mr McDuff moved that the Southern Area bear half the cost of this drain and the Central Area the other half.
