HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmere’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports having small yardings in all departments at the weekly stock sale at Frankton on Tuesday. Practically everything that was yarded was quitted at satisfactory prices.
F.at heifers made £7 13s, others £5 2s 6d ; fat cows- £7 to £7 12s 6d, unfinished £4 10s to £4 17s 6d ; stores 35is to £2 7s ; best 2-year steers £5 16s, others £4 5s ; empty 2-year heifers £3 to £3 6s ; good steer calves £3 to £3 5s ; best dairy heifers £7 10s to £B| 15s, medium £6 10s to £6 15s, more backward sorts £3 15s to £5 ; dairy cows £6 15s to £B. Forward-condition-ed hoggets brought 31s, others 27s 6d to 27s 9d ; fresh-conditioned ewes 25s 6d ; store wethers 31s. Heavy bacon? ers realised from £4 to £4> ss, lighter £3 6s to £3 12s ; best porkers £2 Ils to £3 Is, others £2 3s to £2 6s ; choppers £5 5s ; sows to farrow £6 5s to £6 17s 6d, others, £5 sis ; best slips 27s to 325, others 19s to 22s ; weaners 9s to- 16s.
