DISTRICT GROUP RESULTS.
THE SEASON’S AVERAGES. An interesting table made available by the NX Herd Testing Association! gives the average production of tfie cows in each group. The figures also show that already the association is commencing to prove its worth, for the average production of the 60,000 cows in 238 days has been 227.521 b offat, as compared with 207.811 b of fat in 237 days last year. The details: of the groups on the Hauraki Plains are as follows:— Shelly Beach, 1411 cows, 222.531 b average fat in 242 days; Turua, 1073 cows, 217.061 b average fat in .237 days ; Netherton, 13,22 cows, 201.081 b average fat in 226 days ; Waitakaruru, 1223 cows, 193.461 b average fat.in 230 days.
