ENTERTAINMENTS.

GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. LOVE AND SACRIFICE. Famed in poetry and in prose, the historical ride of Paul Revere was never before invested with the significance, the thrills, and the daring that it is in D. W. Griffith’s “Love and Sacrifice,” the romantic epic of the War of Independence, which will be screened tonight. Mr. Griffith s picture gives the lie direct to Longfellow’s poem on the ride, for while the poet stated that “Hhrdly a man now alive remembers that famous date and year,” the vociferous applause which greets every hoofbeat of Rcverc’s horse shows very well that women and children as well as men remember Paul, his steed, and the occasion of their journey very well indeed. Qarol Dempster, Neil Hamilton, and Lional Barrymore arc the principals.

THURSDAY NIGHT. •' TIGER LOVE.” This was the last thing that the Wildcat would do. Everyone had come to the big square of the city to see the biggest wedding of the season. There wag Marcheta, the most beautiful girl in town, and now she was carried off right under the eyes of her father. The news spread rapidly, and a determined attempt was made to catch the Wildcat. But he always seemed to lead, always seemed to be ahead, until the soldiers found him and his band in their mountain stronghold. But what they found will thrill and astound you. Antonio Moreno and Estelle Taylor are the istars of this picture of passionate love to be shown to-morrow' night.
