NGATEA STOCK SALE. zit the Loan asid Mercantile Agency’s monthly stock sale at Ngatea on Friday last about 200 head of stock were yarded. Best dairy heifers brought from £ll to £l3, others £9 to £lO 10s, smaller £8 10s to £9 ss. Best, dairy cows close to profit realised from £7 10s to £lo* 10s; heavy beef cows £7 to £7 12s 6d, others £5 5s to £6 10s. All store cattle sold under keen competition at values wliich showed an improvement on late quotations.
