ENTERTAINMENTS.

GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. "CODE iOF THE SEA.” There is an old saying about giving a dog a bad name, and Bruce McDow had been branded a coward by the stern code of the sea. Somehow he could not live down that name, for everywhere men taunted him with it. But there was a time when Bruce broke through and found the man within himself, and that is the thrilling tale of the sea that is told in “Code of the Sea,” the Paramount Victor Fleming production, featuring Rod La Rocque and Jacqueline Logan. This gripping sea story will be shown to-night. SATURDAY NIGHT. “IN HOLLYWOOD WITH POTASH AND PERLMUTTER.” ' “In Hollywood with Potash and Perlmutter.” to be screened to-morrow night, is the second of these stories to be brought to the screen by Samuel Goldwyn. It is an adaptation of the play “Business Before Pleasure,” but instead of leaving its heroes in the cloak and suit trade it takes them to Hollywood, where they try their hands at producing movies. A stellar cast enacts the picture. Alexander Carr and George Sidney play the principals, and others in the cast are Vera Gordon, Betty Blythe, and Belle Bennett. This picture shows the latest Hollywood styles in thrills and lifughs.
