GOLDFIELDS BRANCH. ANNUAL-MEETING. The annual meeting of the Goldfields branch of the Educational Institute was held in the Paeroa District Higli School on Saturday last, the president (Mr J. O’Connor), of Waihi, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed, while the balance-sheet was adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr J. W. T. Jones, Karangahake; vicepresidents, Messrs M. J. O’Connor, Waihi; C. H. Taylor, Paeroa; bffld Miss Terry, Te Arolia. Management Committee.' Messi's F. Upton (Waikino), E. Morgan (Marigaiti), Bullen (Te Aroha), Mrs Roberts (Waihi), Miss Taylor (Paeroa) ; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Bigelow, M-A. (Paeroa) ; representative on Auckland Management Committee, Mr J. W. T. Jones. The meeting closed with a vote of timaks to the . retiring officers.
