GAME AT THAMES. LOCAL TEAM SELECTED. The following members of the Paeroa Ladies’ Hockey Club have been selected to Play against the Huia (Thames) team at Thames to-mor-row :—

Misses P. Trcanor, L. McKee, F. Shaw, N. Morland, D. Gunn, V. Shand (captain), C. Swann, N. Fitch, L. Payne, M. Tierney, and A. Morland. Cars will leave the new post office site at 1 p.m. sharp. Any player unable to travel is requested to notify the secretary at once.

As a mean's of raising funds to purchase the necessary playing requisites the club has organised a grand dance, to be held in the Soldiers’ Club, Paeroa, on Tuesday evening next, June 23.
