HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports: We held our usual weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, there being a fair entry of beef, store cattle, and pigs, but only a moderate number of sheep were penned. Beef Was firm, at the previous weeks' rates. AH classes of store cattle drew good competition at prices well in advance of those ruling at late markets. Sheep barely reached the prices reported last week. Fat and store pigs were firm at advanced rates. Fat steers made from £l2 2s 6d to £l2 ss, lighter £lO 16s to £ll 10s; prime heavy fat cows and hoifci'is £8 15s to £9 1.7 s 6d ; fat cows £6 16s to £7 6s, medium £5 10s to 26, light £1 15s to £5 2s, unfinished £3 10s to £4 ss; well bred Shorthorn cows, young, in store condition, £2 10s to £2 17s ;• medium quality 2%-year steers £4 19s ; rough 18-months steers £3 '2s ; good steer calves £2 7s, pmall 265; good heifer calves 335. Fat wethers £2 2s; fat ewes 35s 6d ; fat hoggets 27s 7d. Prime fat baconers £3 3s to £3 8s ; best porker's £2 19s, others £2 5s to £2 10s ; good storey 35s to 37s ; slips 30s to 32s ; weahers 17s tn 12s 6d.
