BUTTER AND CHEESE PRICES. LONDON WEEK-END CABLE. Included in the latest London weekend cable received by the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., is the statement that butter prices are 170 s for Anchor, unsalted 178 s, Danish 170 s. A nominal dock labourers’ strike in Denmark is interfering with butter shipments this week, but the market is not yet affected retail prices. New Zealand is Is Bd, Danish Is 9d, with consumption good. The market for cheese is still quiet, white and coloured bringing 935, buyers offering 82s. Canadian is 90s landed. A renewal of activity is expected shortly.
