HAMILTON STOCK SALE The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports: We held our usual weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, and had a good yarding of fat and store cattle and pigs, and a small entry of sheep. Beef barelyrealised the prices received the previous week, the whole yarding changing hands under steady competition. We quote : Medium fat steers £lO to £lO is. light £8 to £8 15s, light and unfinished £7 to £7 12s; extra prime heavy fat cows £9 2s 6d, prime £6 17s 6d to £7 13s, medium £5 15s to £6 light £4 5s to £5 ss, unfinished £3 5s to £3 15s ; fresh-conditioned cows £2 2s- to £2 6s : stores 30s to 35s ; 2-year in-calf'Jersey-cross heifers £4 15s; good quality weaner steers £2 Ils; Jersey heifers (wcaners) 30s. Pigs sold at l.ate rates, heavy baconers bringing from £3 10s to £3 14s, medium £3 3s to £3 7s ; light baconors am! good porkers £2 15s to £3; mediuin porkers £2 10s to £2 13s, light £2 to £2 ss, unfinished 80s to 355; stores 25s to 325; slips 15ts to £l, wcaners 10s to 12s.
