TO THE ELECTORS, I desire to thank all those who supported my candidature at the Election on Wednesday, and although unsuccessful, I consider that there is much that we defeated candidates can do to assise the progress of our town, thereby making ourselves useful citizens, and lightening, to an extent, the work of the Councillors, all of whom I congratulate on their return. _ R. Having served five years as a Councillor (and four as DeputyMayor) , and taking a keen interest in all Borough matters, I hope with my past experience to be able to do a little to assist in the advancement of Paeroa. I also thank the Ratepayers for rturning me unopposed as Paeroa’s representative on the Thames Harbour Board. EDWIN EDWARDS. MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
