The following programme has been arranged by the local Golf Club for the .forthcoming season : — LADIES. May 2 : Monthly Medal Handicap, 6d entrance fee. May 9. President’s v. Captain’s teams match. May 16: Open. May 23: Club Handicap, entrance fee Is, subsidised by club; qualifying round, medal play, first 16 to qualify; play-off on handicap match play. May 30: Bogey Hand? cap ; trophy presented by Mrs Bray. June 3: Tournament day. June 6: Monthly Medal Handicap, 6d entrance foe, June 13: First round Eclectic Match, trophy presented by Mrs Edwards. June 20: Medal round on handicap, trophy presented by Mrs Little. June 27 : Medal Handicap, C grade players only; trophy presented by Mrs Topliss. July 4>: Monthly Medal Handicap, 6d entrance fee. July 11: Qualifying round, medal play, for Club Championship ; first 16 to qualify. July 18 : Open. July 25: Medal Handicap, trophy presented by M - Hedge. Auiigst 1: Monthly Medal. Handicap, 6d entrance fee. August 8: Second round Eclectic Match.' August 15: Open. August 22: One Club Medal Handicap, trophy presented by Mrs Bain. August 29: Open. September 5: Monthly Medal Handicap, 6d entrance fee. September 12 : Flag Match, trophy presented by Mrs Lawrence. September 19 : Open. September 26: Third round Eclectic Match. '. October 3 :■ Monthly Medal Handicap, 6d entrance fee. October 10: Medal Handicap, for Ist, 2nd, and 3rd year players only; trophy presented by Mrs Taylor. October 17 : President’s v. Captain’s teams match. October 24: Closing day. MEN. May 2: Monthly Medal Handicap. May 9 : President’s v. Captain’s teams match. May 16 : Open. June 3: Tournament day. June 6": Monthly Medal Handicap. June 13 : President’s Trophy. First match, 18 holes, Handicap Medal Match; Ist 3 points, 2nd 2 points, 3rd 1 point., Juno. 20 : Open. June 27: Bogey Handicap, trophv presented by Mr Somervell.
July 4i: Monthly Medal Handicap. July 11: President's Trophy. Second match', 18 holes, Bogey Handicap; points as before. July 18 : Open. July 25: First round Club Championship, matci.' play.
August 1: Monthly Medal HandicapAugust 8 : Captain's Trophy. Bogey Handicap. August 15 : Open. August 22: Bogey Handicap. August 29 : Open.
September 5 : Monthly Medal Handicap. September 12: Bogey Handicap, trophy presented by Mr Miller. September 19 : Junior Trophy Medal Handicap, for playens 20 handicap and over. Septetaiber 26 : Open. October 3: Monthly Medal Handicap. October 10 : Open. October 17 : President's v. Captain’s teams match. October 24 : Closing day.
Ladies will arrange own partners, except when otherwise Specified. Men will arrange own partners for medal matches, -but bogey matches will be drawn on the links at 2 p.m. the day of the match. Any rearrangement or alteration of the above programme is in the hands of the respective match committees.
